Here we are waking up in Vancouver starting our New Year! Enjoying the cool weather and all the snow. It truly is breath taking watching the snow fall and lay. Trying to think of something to do that I hadn’t done before was hard but then I remembered that I hadn’t been out to the Capilano Suspension Bridge yet, so we decided to head out. Picking up coffee and a few friends on the way, we made our way out there. Its only about a 15 minute drive from downtown. Costing about $40 Australia each which I didn’t mind paying but once we got inside the gates we noticed half the park/ walk ways were closed off due to the icy conditions, frustrating because we had to pay full price but only got to see half of the grounds. Either way it was still amazing.
The next day I decided to take John and Rachael down to Granville Island to have a look around. We finished up there and it was still early so we decided to go see what Stanley Park had to offer. While we were there we checked out the First nations art and totem poles and Beaver Lake which look like it had frozen over.
